Sail through the Bay of Isles to wondrous Woody Island, the only island in the entire Recherche Archipealgo that is open to visitors. It's here you can get up close and personal with the locals as dolphins, rare birds and fur seals frolic within arms reach.
Daily island cruises will lead you there and if you feel like staying a little longer then why not hire a Safari Hut and stop the night so you can make the most of your back-to-nature experience. The island also boasts a special interpretive centre as well as a kiosk and café.
Fishing, swimming and bushwalking are popular pastimes here and there's even a glass bottom boat so you can experience the incredible underwater world without getting your feet wet.
