Calling all fiction writers!

Would you like some friendly and constructive feedback on something you’ve written? This workshop offers just that: we’ll circulate extracts of participants’ writing in advance, giving everyone time to read each other’s work, and then meet to discuss them in a conversation guided and informed by Carol Hoggart.

Participants are asked to send their fiction (no more than 8000 words in length, please!) to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by 1/4/21. The fiction may be a short story or the opening section of a novel/novella. All fiction genres are welcome (although if you think any content might offend, do let us know).

Note: a limit of 10 participants applies and registrations close on 1st April.

Carol Hoggart has a PhD in Creative Writing, has taught writing at Curtin University, and has written and published historical fiction and academic articles. More importantly, she has participated in fiction-critiquing groups for many years and finds them enormously useful and enjoyable.
