Learn how you can bring all the birds and the bees to your yard. The natural world is so diverse because it is overcoming the same challenges we all face: getting laid and not dying.

Plants come in a range of colours and have a big bag of tricks to attract birds and bugs.

Triggerplants stamp pollen onto the back of insects with a mobile "arm".
Greenhoods lure fungus gnats with false female pheromones.
Scarlet Kunzea decks itself in lush red to catch the eye of New Holland Honey-eaters.
Also! As the planting season comes to a close, I’ll give you some advice so that your new plants don’t die. You’ll already have made your $25 back after this talk through two Bunnings plants surviving.

Come along and delve into the intimate details of the bush!

CWA Hall, James Street (opposite Esperance Museum) at 6:00 - 7:00 pm Wednesday 10 August.
0-3 year olds free.
A small portion of each ticket goes towards helping disadvantaged children.
