From September 24th to October 8th, 2023, the Cannery Arts Centre invites you to immerse yourself in the 'Colours of Nature.' The exhibition has been curated by Katie White (Caladenia Co) and features beautiful artworks by Katie, Claire Mitchell, Ros Melican, Karen Oversby, Eris Frewen and Jodee Marsh.
Welcome to an exhibition where play is on display. The Wildflower Women in this exhibition attended a workshop in 2022, led by Helen Coleman, to learn how to make colours from nature. Since then, they have joined in the garden and the bush to play. This immersive exhibition shares the journey of creativity, celebration and awe of nature expressed in all forms of art.
‘Colours of Nature' is a celebration of the unique journey’s artists embark upon in their exploration of the kaleidoscope of colours found in the natural world.
