Unheard Space

Unheard Space was born out of a number of motivations, to encourage myself (Kyron) to complete a new body of work, to inspire local writers to join me on my songwriting journey, and to present an evening of live music where all of the tracks were being played for the first time. Theres something quite romantic about the prospect. The concept expanded a little with the consideration of how to motivate artists to be involved. We landed on an audience choice award for the night, with two selected songs winning the opportunity to be recorded at Pete McMahons Sound Centre in Esperance, also an accompanying cash prize. Artists set to deliver two songs each were chosen by invite, with eleven local musicians signing up for the challenge. Izzie Dutoit, Rowan Donovan, Dan Seinor Laura Petrie, Joe Franzone, Tom Clark, Jemma Donovan, Pete McMahon, Mousey, Dave Vooght-Simpson, Zai Pereira I myself will aim to perform 40 minutes of new material to follow the eleven artists above contribution, with tracks in my set ineligible for the audience choice award.
