Lifeline WA and Esperance Crisis Accommodation Service would like to invite you to attend DV-Alert training in Esperance on 25 & 26 and 27 November 2025 as part of the 16 Days in WA Campaign.
These workshops are fully funded by the Department of Social Services for frontline workers to learn how to recognise the signs of family violence, respond appropriately, and refer to support services within the community.
2-Day Foundations:
This workshop covers the nature and scope, patterns and impacts of domestic and family violence, what to consider for diverse groups, communication skills, safety planning, referral pathways and more. By the end of the workshop, you will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to identify and respond to the needs of clients who may be experiencing domestic and family violence, respond appropriately and how to refer clients to appropriate services and support.
1 Day Men Who Use Violence:
Further training for frontline workers who have completed any 2-day DV-alert workshop, this workshop focuses on the drivers of men’s use of violence and how to take actions that will lower the risk these men present to their partners and children.
This workshop provides practical knowledge and skills in implementing the Recognise, Respond and Refer Model.
