Roman Rudnytsky

Rudnytsky is an American concert pianist of Ukrainian background.

A graduate of the foremost music school in the world—the Juilliard School in New York—he has been playing concerts for years. To date, he has played in 100 countries and on about 80 cruises of Cunard and P&O (UK) ships.

He has been soloist with many orchestras around the world, played in 52 countries through US Embassies and Consulates as a kind of “cultural ambassador”. He was, when younger, a prizewinner in ten international and national piano competitions.

Roman Rudnytsky has made 23 concert tours in Australia since 1979–every two years—more than in any other country. These have ranged from the Sydney Opera House to many regional performing arts centres and in regional cities, country towns, and Outback communities. These have included many recitals in Western Australia—-for various local arts councils, through Shires, and in most of the Circuit West theatres.
